Childhood Obesity
When it comes to childhood obesity, there's a variety of different criteria we look for. Starting with the diagnosis, we will calculate your child's BMI and plot the weight vs. height for age in the growth chart. We will work with you to help determine what you can do to ensure your child adopts a healthy lifestyle to achieve the desired weight for age.
Immunization
Immunization is an effective – not to mention safe – way to help protect your children from any infectious diseases your child could get. Immunization chart coming soon! The easiest way to find out your child's needs is by calling us at 925-462-7700.
ADHD
Do you feel that your child sometimes has difficulty focusing, whether at school or at home? There's a chance he could have attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD). This is evaluated using the standard NICHQ Vanderbilt assessment scales in children between the ages of 6 - 12 years old based on parent and teacher input. Necessary management will be discussed based on the child's needs to be functional at school as well as at home.
