Complimentary Prenatal Consultation:

East Bay Pediatric Primary Care, Inc., is offering a complimentary consultation for expecting parents. It is advisable to find a Pediatrician on the third trimester of pregnancy to discuss any concerns you and your spouse / partner may have. We suggest you prepare a list of questions prior to the visit. During your prenatal visit, you will have the opportunity to arrange a tour of the facility after your visit with Dr. Jumig. Please contact our office for a complimentary prenatal consultation - (925) 462-7700.

Immunization Schedule:

9 months                 Hemoglobin (Hgb)

12 months                MMRV, PCV7, TB test**

15 months                DTaP, HIB

18 months                Hepatitis A #1

2 years                    Hepatitis A #2

3 years                    Check Up

4 years                    DTaP, IPV, MMRV

5 years                    PPD, vision check, Hemoglobin

6-10 years                Physical exam (complete check up)

10 and older             Physical exam (complete check up)

11-12 years               Tdap, Menactra, Gardasil (in females)

The above indicates what you can expect during regularly scheduled well-child/adolescent visits.

* Rotateq – there is a strict protocol for this: 1st dose must be given no later than 12 weeks of age and the 3rd dose must be completed by 32 weeks (7 ½ months) of age.

** TB test – only if at risk

Key to Abbreviations:

DTaP - Diphtheria, tetanus and acellular pertussis vaccine

Pediarix -  HBV, IPV, DTaP

IPV – Inactivated polio vaccine

PCV7 – Conjugated pneumococcal vaccine

Rotateq – A vaccine against rotavirus diarrhea

MMRV – Measles, mumps, rubella (German measles) and varicella (chicken pox) vaccine

Tdap – Diphtheria, tetanus and adult pertussis vaccine

Menactra – A vaccine against meningococcal bacterial meningitis

Gardasil – A vaccine against HPV (Human Papillomavirus) to prevent cervical cancer

Hemoglobin – a test for anemia
